Sometimes, rarely actually, I make a bead and think....OMG! That's the best bead EVER!!!! I made two of those this week. Now, before anybody gets their panties in a twist, I don't mean that it's the best bead ever made. I mean it's the best bead I've ever made....and for that, I am truly encouraged and inspired to torch some more.

New beads

First, a pastel puppy bead with a purple nose. Cuter than you can imagine.

Look! It's almost Valentine's Day so I made a heart. I think I'm done with hearts. Next up, bunnies. I love bunny season.

Another bead using the stringer swirl technique from Sarah Hornik. This one I decided to overdecorate.

Speaking of overdecorating....

Oooh, sparkly! Dichro inside, pretty flowers outside. I particularly like how the stems perfectly outline the lentil. That's four stems and no heinous errors. I was thrilled. Wheeeeeeee!

New beads

Unbelievable.

You know how sometimes you just need to rant a little bit to get something off your chest? Well, this is one of those times for me....

What kind of mean streak does it take to write your 21 year old daughter and ask if she would like to get together over the holidays (after not seeing her for nearly 10 years) and then get an enthusiastic email from her saying she would like that very much and then NOT EMAIL HER BACK? What the hell is wrong with you, dude? I mean, seriously.

Argh.
